The LiPro1-6 Active V2 module protects your valuable lithium cells. The module continuously monitors the cell voltages; as soon as the voltage of a cell drops too low, the safety loop opens for deep-discharge protection (LVP). This safety loop runs through all LiPro1-6 Active V2 modules and switches off the load (via an external relay or the load output of our greenController).

As soon as the maximum end-of-charge voltage is exceeded on a cell, the safety loop opens for overcharge protection (OVP), which switches off the charging sources (e.g. mains charger, solar charge controller and other sources).

If our solar charge controller is used, it can communicate directly with the BMS via the RS485 bus.

Temperature monitoring is also provided. At temperatures above +80 °C, both safety loops are switched off.

The LiPro1-6 Active V2 module also contains a charge balancer that “draws off” current from a cell with a high SoC (state of charge), thereby reducing that cell’s charge. The drawn-off current is made available to the other cells via a DC/DC converter.
